About us

Livin Farms empowers food companies to upcycle their low-value organic waste to high-value insect ingredients through two main services: Building scalable, and modular automated insect factories on customer’s sites to access their food by-products; and regularly providing seedlings to turn customers' bio waste into insect products. Through our farming as a service model, our customers can utilize insect products in the animal feed market shortening the huge protein gap across industries.

The main goal of the position

Be the technical leader of the company and drive the scaling of our growth to the next level. Strategize, plan and lead the execution of technical projects and actively contribute to further product development.

What you will do

• Define the company's tech strategy
• Lead international projects in industrial plant construction, from conception to commissioning
• Process engineering strategizing, planning and concept development for industrial plants
• Strategize human and financial resources internally and externally, including cooperation with suppliers and contractors
• Interact with clients, understanding their requirements and needs, contribute to product development
• Lead and responsible for problem-solving initiatives on technical challenges
• Drive and implement development initiatives and set up standardization process within the company

About you

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering or relevant field (mechanical engineering, chemistry)
• Solid track record in a tech leadership role in an industrial environment
• Hands-on attitude, experience in working in a start-up environment
• Experience in the management of change processes or transformation projects
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Fluent English and German language skills

We’re willing to overpay, depending on your professional work experience and qualification.
