About the job

We are looking for a Data and Knowledge Engineer who will be a part of the Sales Enablement Team in the Growth & Marketing division at Graphwise. The Sales Enablement Team is developing the Graphwise Knowledge Hub as a central application for our sales enablement strategy on top of Graphwise Platform and powered by the Graphwise Knowledge Graph. The team is also responsible for the Graphwise Certification program and technical documentation for Graphwise platform.

About the Role

The Data and Knowledge Engineer's main responsibility is to select, create, curate and maintain sales enablement content in order to maximize the value of the organization's knowledge and with a priority goal of supporting the company's sales enablement initiatives. In addition the data and knowledge engineer should help to curate and extend the Graphwise Knowledge Graph with a focus on the development of the taxonomies that are part of it.

In your role, you will collaborate with the Senior Solution Architect and the Full Stack Developer in the team to consistently further develop and improve our solution. You will maintain the existing solution on a daily basis, and facilitate internal improvement requests and work with the team to steer towards reaching our strategic priorities and goals. You will also work across teams especially with product and innovation to bring our feedback and learnings to the product team and incorporate new features of the product and findings of the innovation team.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance our Graphwise Knowledge Hub content database utilizing graph technologies and advanced text mining techniques.
  • Optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipelines to seamlessly integrate diverse data sources into our database.
  • Co-develop the Grapwise Knowledge Graph, leveraging it alongside statistical methods and AI to create innovative functionalities for our Graphwise Knowledge Hub.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement and deploy our Knowledge Hub Solutions.
  • Collaborate with the product and innovation team to align the knowledge hub development with product development and findings from innovation.
Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will satisfy all or most of the following requirements:

  • At least 3 years of industry experience with responsibilities in at least one of the following areas: technical consulting, solution engineering, data engineering
  • Know-how and experience with data modelling and data engineering for heterogeneous sources, including APIs, document repositories, structured data, and unstructured content
  • Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines
  • Experience in solution development with the Semantic Web technology stack (RDF, SPARQL, OWL, linked data etc.) would be highly desirable
  • A sound technical background around software development, databases, software and system architecture
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python scripting languages, and experience with REST APIs and version control systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in requirements engineering, ability to translate business problems into technical requirements
  • Experience with modern AI technologies, in particular LLMs and RAG techniques
General skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting / problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively and simultaneously manage work from multiple projects
  • An inquiring mind, intense curiosity, interdisciplinary awareness as well as a strong desire to innovate in/contribute to the areas of the Semantic Web, Linked Data and Knowledge Graph Systems
  • Project management experience is desirable
  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English
