ESG Manager (f/m/x)

Our client, an internationally active and publicly listed company on a strong growth path, is currently seeking an experienced ESG Manager to lead and further develop company-wide sustainability strategies. This position reports directly to the Group CFO and offers the opportunity to significantly shape ESG initiatives and actively implement global standards.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and monitoring of ESG projects in alignment with the corporate strategy
• Creation and ongoing development of ESG policies in accordance with local and international regulations
• Monitoring and evaluation of the impact of ESG strategies using defined KPIs
• Preparation of sustainability reports in collaboration with the communications and finance teams, as well as coordination of data collection
• Ensuring that ESG strategy addresses corporate risks and opportunities
• Regularly informing the corporate group about ESG trends, regulatory developments , and best practices
• Promoting a company-wide sustainability culture through training and awareness initiatives
• Supporting communications and investor relations in the preparation of ESG-relevant materials

Your profile:

• Completed university degree in environmental studies, sustainability , or related fields
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG project management, sustainability, or corporate responsibility
• Knowledge of relevant ESG frameworks such as GRI, ESRS, TCFD, and regulatory standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical thinking and experience in sustainability reporting
• Excellent English skills , both written and spoken
• Familiarity with digital tools for ESG analysis and reporting
• Experience with carbon footprinting and decarbonization strategies
