Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
This position can be filled in Erlangen, Germany or in Vienna, Austria.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the successful implementation of your sub-projects in the area of Healthcare IT Digitization with respect to deadlines, budget, scope, as well as quality as contractually agreed with our customers and partners.
- You will coordinate your technical work packages for a successful project implementation.
- You will ensure the support of our team in the sales phase.
- You analyze multi modality clinical and radiological complex workflows and data in the context of replacing existing RIS with syngo Carbon solution. Based on that you are able to create implementation concept and implement the required solution.
- You will be responsible for your work packages during the implementation phase of the project and ensure an efficient implementation, including installation / data migration of your sub-projects.
- Within our team, you will ensure continuous improvement regarding customization, developing independent solutions to resolve obstacles and problems and their standardization and required methodology, tools, and templates.
- You will be responsible for the documentation and handover of the results to our customer and the service organization

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a completed master's degree in health management IT, medical technology, eHealth, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
- You have many years of professional experience in an IT environment within the healthcare sector as well as in the implementation and integration of IT and digitalization customer projects.
- We also welcome applicants with a bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training and further training as an MTR in conjunction with additional professional experience in this field. Multimodal data paths experience like CT/MR/ Angio, is a great advantage.
- You have profound knowledge regarding modern imaging systems and data management software, including PACS, HIS, RIS and regarding reporting using speech recognition tools as well as solid knowledge in advanced visualization solutions.
- You have good knowledge in clinical and radiological workflow and are able to describe them independently and efficiently.
- You have profound knowledge of medical standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE).
- You have also good knowledge with implementing relational databases (MSSQL Server, PostgresSQL , Oracle DB) and tools (Server Integration Tools, Mirth,.. ).
- You have good knowledge in implementing IT infrastructure cluster solutions and in working with web clients, workstations, servers, networks, storages and hardware as well as virtualization (WAN, SAN, LAN, RHEL, Debian, virtualization, high availability platforms, RK2, UPS, monitoring and backup and restore concepts, Active Directory, Certificates, Security management, DNS).
Your attributes and skills:
- You have excellent communication skills and are business fluent in English in order to communicate with international stakeholders appropriately. Very good German skills are a big advantage.
- Your planning and organizational skills enable you to independently prioritize and manage your work packages. You take initiative and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- You are willing to travel occasionally to customers – primarily within the EMEA region – (approx. 15%).
- Your social competence forms the foundation for successful collaboration in an international team.
- You feel comfortable working in project teams, have experience handling conflict situations, and have gained initial project experience.
- You possess solid presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain complex issues. In doing so, you skillfully adopt the customer’s perspective.
