Tset is an innovative company on the intersection of the highly-competitive automotive industry and modern software development. Their applications help the industry improve its cost-efficiency. Through the use of data science, mathematics and computational geometry they reshape product costing, purchasing and engineering.

Tasks:

Combine scripting and data analysis skills to support the sales team building proofs of concept of the company’s software for large-scale industry customers
Build on top of growing REST API solutions which analyse and transform data
Develop prototypes of future products. Maintain a set of boilerplates so this can happen fast. Create quick and convincing solutions showcasing product ideas
Contribute to data analysis and machine learning tasks as part of client projects and/or feature prototyping
Deploy solutions independently

Must-have skills:

Quantitative background with good experience in data analysis and machine learning (about 3 years)
Experience in rapid prototyping with REST APIs and quick development of user interfaces (e.g. Python Dash)
Competent use of Python for scripting and data analysis, e.g. pandas, scipy, numpy, and matplotlib
Experience with SQL
Readiness to take over project management tasks and interact with clients
Good communication skills and fluency in English
Active interest in what our clients do, the industry development and what problems our software solves

Nice-to-have skills:

Background in software-as-a-service, enterprise software, automotive/manufacturing industry, B2B sales, project management
Background with (first) experience in data analysis and machine learning
Java and/or Kotlin
AWS
Figma, mock-up drawing
Fluent in German
