This position is temporary until 15.07.2028.
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Development and optimization of production processes for the manufacture of blood plasma proteins for medical applications
- Establishment and application of analytical test methods for process and product characterization
- Close collaboration with external partners (e.g. CROs or universities) and internal interfaces (Production, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs)
- Planning, execution, evaluation, and GMP-compliant documentation of laboratory experiments
- Support for scientific inquiries and regulatory and customer-related questions
- Preparation of technical and scientific documents (instructions, study reports, publications) and presentation of results
- Technical guidance and supervision of laboratory technicians
Your expertise and ideal skill set
- Completed degree in natural science in chemistry, pharmacy, or biochemistry (Master or PhD)
- Knowledge in protein purification, radioactive labeling of proteins, and the development of analytical methods
- Professional experience in the blood plasma or diagnostic industry is a plus
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 and ideally electronic laboratory systems (e.g. LIMS)
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability
- High level of commitment, perseverance and a structured way of working
- Reliable and proactive team player
- Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written

Benefits
The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.270,14 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
