Life as a SEO/GEO Manager

We’re looking for an SEO/GEO Manager who’s as comfortable diving into Core Web Vitals as they are reverse engineering why an LLM surfaces a competitor instead of us. In this role, you’ll shape organic and AI-search visibility across a portfolio of international brands. Working across strategy, technology, content and data, you’ll turn a rapidly shifting search landscape into clear opportunities, smart action and measurable growth — helping brands stay visible wherever their audiences are searching.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Own Search Strategy. Lead integrated SEO and GEO roadmaps across international client accounts, from research and audits through implementation, optimization and reporting.
• Master Technical SEO. Analyze and improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals and overall performance — turning technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Win in AI Search. Develop, test and evolve strategies that increase brand visibility and citations across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and emerging AI-search platforms.
• Build Search-First Content. Partner with copywriters and creative teams to develop topical authority, optimize content experiences and create work that performs for people, search engines and AI-powered discovery.
• Turn Data into Direction. Use tools like GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Rankscale to uncover opportunities, track performance and translate data into meaningful action.
• Lead with Clarity. Present strategies, facilitate workshops and turn complex SEO and GEO insights into clear priorities, decisions and next steps for clients and internal teams.
• Bring Proven Expertise. Bring several years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally agency-side, with strong technical and analytical skills — plus fluent English and native-level German communication.

At LOOP, we believe great work deserves fair pay — and that transparency builds trust. For this role, the gross annual starting salary (full-time, based in Austria) is EUR 45,000. That’s our baseline for candidates who meet the key requirements. If you bring more to the table — deeper experience, sharper skills — we’re ready to reflect that in your offer.
