The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden location - Abbott Diagnostics GmbH in the Point of Care division. Abbott Point of Care develops, manufactures and markets critical medical diagnostic and data management products for rapid blood analysis. The i-STAT System is an advanced, portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time, lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making. The i-STAT System has the industry’s most comprehensive menu of tests in a single, with-patient platform, including tests for blood gases, electrolytes, chemistries, coagulation, hematology, glucose, and cardiac markers.
The Business Analyst (m/f/d) will play an integral role in the development, implementation and execution of key reporting that drives activities leading to overall success of the APOC Commercial business.
Your Tasks:
- Conduct complex analyses leveraging and integrating data from multiple sources (e.g., CRM, Saleforce.com, Power BI, etc.) and different types of data sets (e.g., structured and unstructured data) to develop actionable insights to guide the sales teams
- Automate reports (using Power BI) for regional and customer segments for use by internal users
- Collaborate with CommEx Manager & global CommEx Team building new and evolving existing business intelligence tools
- Maintain and enhance current dashboards to incorporate best-in-class design to deliver insights more effectively and efficiently
- Capture and maintain action items arising out of CommEx Manger-led monthly reviews with Country General Managers
- Collaborate with Business IT to ensure accurate Salesforce.com set up (user roles and permissions, queue management, data clean up and mass uploads, regional reports)
- Develop local market or account-based insights based on data, while collaborating with cross-functional partners within and outside of Global Commercial.
- Support Country Managers on request with ad-hoc reports from of Salesforce & PBI
- Be first line-of-contact with Sales Teams and APOC Business IT on technical aspects of data management to support accurate system usage and set up (e.g. account management, territory structures)
Your Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years work experience in business analytics
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Interactive Dashboard Design in Power BI
- High proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office apps (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Preferred Experience working on Diagnostics or Medical Device data/databases
- Be self-disciplined and self-directed - Ability to develop strong networks
- Set high personal and professional standards - Prioritize and manage time effectively
- Very good English skills
