A core part of your role will be developing operators and controllers in Go and helping evolve a platform that is production-ready, Kubernetes-native, and designed around developer experience, automation, and secure operating models. kloudease already provides a strong foundation for this with integrated GitOps, observability, and security by design.

Your job

• You develop Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go, creating the foundation for greater automation within our platform
• You build reusable platform components for productive use in cloud-native environments
• You automate infrastructure with Terraform/OpenTofu and operational workflows with a clear focus on scalability, stability, and maintainability
• You contribute to the further development of our platform architecture around Kubernetes and cloud-native operating models
• You help implement self-service capabilities for development teams from a technical perspective
• You integrate platform capabilities into existing DevOps and GitOps approaches
• You contribute to technical decisions around automation, platform operations, and standardization

What you bring along

• Very strong Golang skills and hands-on experience in developing production-grade software
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, especially in developing Kubernetes operators and controllers
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes APIs, reconciliation patterns, and cloud-native architecture principles
• Experience in platform engineering and in building or further developing Kubernetes-based platforms
• Know-how in automating infrastructure, services, or operational processes
• Ideally, experience with GitOps, infrastructure-as-code approaches (e.g. Terraform, OpenTofu), or developer platforms
• You work in a structured and pragmatic way and have high standards when it comes to building sustainable technical solutions
• You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
