SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d) to join the team as soon as possible.

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s SAP S/4HANA environment, including ongoing support. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, department leaders, and external service providers to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and implement SAP projects in collaboration with business teams.
• Maintain, configure, and enhance the SAP S/4HANA landscape and interfaces with external systems.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting.

Business Process Experience

You should have experience supporting SAP processes within a trading, distribution, or retail environment, including:

• Material requirements planning (procurement lists, scheduling)
• Purchasing (purchase orders, contracts, supplier information records)
• Material master data management and customization
• Supply chain processes (order confirmations, goods receipts, deliveries, transport orders, batch management)
• Sales processes (sales contracts, order management, planning, quotations, invoicing)

Strong understanding of these business processes and their SAP configuration is essential. Training will be provided on company-specific processes.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly the MM, SD, FI/CO, and PP modules
• Strong ABAP development skills
• SAP Customizing
• EDI / SAP IDoc (customer orders, deliveries, goods issue information, invoices)
• Adobe Forms
• Batch job development and monitoring
• ABAP Reports, BAdIs, BAPIs, User Exits
• OData Services / REST APIs
• Custom tables and transactions
• SAP reporting/controlling and Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have

• SAP Business Warehouse (BW)
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• SAP Fiori
• SAP Business One

Your Profile

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent vocational qualification with a strong SAP background
• Ability to develop innovative technical solutions and willingness to leverage AI tools where appropriate
• German B1 (MUST be able to conduct a technical interview in German) and good English communication skills
• Comfortable working across multiple business departments and collaborating with operational teams
• MUST be comfortable working onsite 5days a week, either in Berlin or Zeven
