What would your role be?

• Client Onboarding Due Diligence : Conduct thorough due diligence for new wealth management clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Periodic Client Reviews : Perform regular reviews of existing clients to ensure ongoing compliance and identify any potential risks.
• KYC Checks : Verify client identities and ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Formality Checks : Review and validate client information and documentation for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Adverse Media Searche s: Conduct searches for adverse media and other risk indicators related to clients and escalate findings as necessary.
• Regulatory Compliance : Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant.
• Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, legal, operations, and relationship managers, to address compliance-related matters.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in the wealth management or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of KYC, CDB, AML and Client Due Diligence processes.
• Proficiency in compliance tools and systems for conducting adverse media searches and KYC checks.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
