The Consolidated Supervision team is part of the Non-Financial Risk Control Department based in Head Office and oversees the implementation of the Global Minimum Standards (Global Minimum Standard – GMS) and Global Minimum Controls (Global Minimum Control – GMC) in Switzerland as well as in all international locations. The team is responsible for the Group Internal Control Framework as well as for the implementation of the Global Minimum Control (GMC) within the entities of the Group. The team acts as the center of competence for internal controls and provides support to the international locations in the implementation of their local frameworks. The team also acts as the independent responsible unit to conduct Quality Assurance across Group locations and risk types, to verify that the Group standards and controls have been properly implemented and adhered to. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Data Analyst, who is passionate about building solutions focused on process efficiency.YOUR CHALLENGE
Provide guidance on the Internal Control framework | Policy Management Framework and tools to the international locations for the implementation of the relevant local key controls | group policies and the reporting of the control results
Consolidate input from international locations on GMC | GMS applicability, implementation and results for key stakeholders, Global Policy Owners, Risk Type Owners and Senior Management
Manage the GMC | GMS deviation/non-applicability workflow tool and related processes including supporting the rollout and implementation of the GMC | GMS in newly established/acquired entities of the group
Align with (senior) business stakeholders to understand structures, the organisation’s business and operating model, and the applicable regulatory requirements
Analyse needs and issues of the organisation or business domain and explore solution with Stakeholders from business and technology acting as a liaison
Feasible integration of the business processes and needs into technical solutions (considering time and budget constraints). Specify and document new business processes or systems
When dealing with CtB projects, ensure appropriate involvement of relevant business stakeholders throughout the whole project lifecycle. Validate the fulfilment of business requirements by elaborating test cases, test procedure and user acceptance testing
YOUR PROFILE
University degree or equivalent (preferably in economics, business administration, technology or finance)
Min 3 years professional experience in experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data analytics solutions, in the financial service industry, ideally in wealth management
Expert level user in MS Office applications, especially Excel (Macros) and PowerPoint; excellent experience with JIRA, Tableau and/or Power BI. The Python, SQL, R or other analytical programs/software is a plus
Experienced in applying testing methodologies, especially functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT); Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re-engineering is a plus
Good communication skills and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Experience working in a global environment with distributed teams across jurisdictions
Ability to stay focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude. Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the sense of responsibility and ownership of task deliveries
Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. Likes to find solutions to complex problems with a keen eye for detail
Excellent command over English (written as well as spoken). Fluency in German, French, Italian or any further language is an advantage
