Your Profile

- Experience with integrating or managing business tools such as CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, or others) is a plus

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to strengthen our commercial team in the EMEA region. This role is a unique opportunity to combine your scientific background with customer-facing, business-driven responsibilities. You will be at the forefront of our growth efforts — driving new customer acquisition, advancing opportunities, and helping researchers across academia and industry succeed with our HD-MEA technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle in the EMEA region, from strategic lead engagement to contract closure
- Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities
- Deliver high-impact product demos and customer trainings, showcasing both technical depth and commercial insight
- Act as a senior representative of MaxWell Biosystems at scientific conferences, trade shows, and high-level customer meetings
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts in academia, biotech, and pharma

Your Profile
- MS/PhD degree in fields related to neuroscience / biotechnology / physiology
- Minimum 2-5 years of industry experience in a similar role (e.g. FAS, Technical Sales, or Account Manager), ideally in the field of neurotech, iPSC and organoids, or life science instrumentation
- Proven track record of driving sales and customer success in a scientific environment
- Deep understanding of neuronal models, ideally with hands-on experience using microelectrode array (MEA) technology – is preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel (~50%) and comfort operating in a dynamic, customer-facing setting
- Strategic mindset, self-starter attitude, and motivation to take ownership of regional business growth

Software Engineer (100%)
Our technology consists of our software suite MaxLab Live, a custom designed integrated circuit, and an FPGA based data acquisition platform and generates vast amounts of data when electrically imaging neuronal tissue. Such data needs to be processed, analyzed and visualized online during operation. At the same time, our customers in drug discovery and neuroscience want to focus on their pharmaceutical and scientific questions, which requires to abstract and hide the technical complexity, while still providing sufficient flexibility to adapt the application to their specific needs. For this, we are seeking highly motivated software engineers to join our team and implement this challenging task.
Your Mission
- Write elegant and maintainable code for our high performance data acquisition and analysis software
- Design and implement next generation UX and data visualizations

Application Scientist Intern (100%) 6-9 months
The cutting-edge electrophysiology platforms of MaxWell Biosystems enable scientists in pharmaceutical industries, contract research organizations, and academia around the world to characterize the function of neurons and the effect of compounds. Due to its high spatial-temporal resolution, our technology can record data with unique features from in-vitro 2D and 3D neuronal cells, such as organoids, cultures of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), acute brain slices and more. Our solutions allow us to extract features at network-level, single-cell level, and subcellular level, enabling faster and more accurate phenotyping of cell lines and reliable assessment of drug effects. We are seeking a highly motivated application scientist to join our scientific team, where you will have the opportunity to work on in-vitro cell and organoid culture experiments, perform electrophysiology recordings and support the analysis of micro-electrode array (MEA) datasets.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments using iPSC derived 2D/3D in-vitro cell cultures and organoids to test, optimize, and validate new MEA related technology and assays.
- Preform electrophysiology recordings using MEAs to measure electrical activity.
- Assist with general laboratory tasks such as maintaining laboratory equipment and preparing solutions.
- Prepare, summarize, and present the experimental results and findings from data interpretation.
- Support with the writing and development of new plating protocols and related documentation.

Your Profile
