Junior Operations Coordinator (100%) – Zürich, Basel, Aarau

Your role: Junior Operations Coordinator

We’re looking for a hands-on Junior Operations Coordinator to help drive the performance and growth of our markets in Zürich, Basel and Aarau. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing local teams, and collaborating across departments to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day operations across Zürich, Basel, and Aarau
• Foster relationships with local stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and represent PubliBike Velospot
• Manage assigned markets by meeting operational targets and using data to improve processes and customer experience
• Drive operational improvements and plan the efficient use of fleet and resources
• Develop market-specific strategies for vehicle deployment, workforce planning, and public tender submissions
• Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment
• Report directly to the Operations Manager

About you:

• 0–2 years of experience in operations or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement; able to navigate complex issues and work effectively across teams
• A curious mindset with a drive to understand customer needs and uncover insights
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, self-motivated, and eager to grow and develop new skills
• Language skills: fluent in German and English
