Laboratory Technician
Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician (100%) to join our European Competence Center in Freienbach. Our state-of-the-art R&D facility covers the full development lifecycle of structural adhesives—from prepolymer design and synthesis to scale-up, performance testing, and industrial application. In this role, you will contribute directly to the development and commercialization of adhesive technologies supporting e-mobility and sustainable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop semi-structural and structural adhesives for automotive body and battery applications

Support manufacturing and commercialization activities in line with DuPont’s product commercialization processes

Independently formulate, mix, and scale up adhesive recipes

Perform performance testing and characterization according to automotive customer specifications

Document formulations, results, and project outcomes with high accuracy and data integrity

Prepare customer presentations and contribute to intellectual property documentation

Collaborate closely with project leaders, manufacturing, and account managers

Ensure full compliance with EH&S, safety, and cleanliness standards

Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile:

Completed training as a Laboratory Technician, ideally in chemistry or a related field

Experience with polyurethane and epoxy-based adhesives is an advantage
-
Automotive industry experience is a plus

Familiarity with project management tools and processes is beneficial

Self-motivated, agile, and collaborative personality with strong interpersonal skills

Fluent German is required; English skills are an advantage

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
