Legal Advisor Investment Funds

Independent legal advice to departments on compliance rules and legal aspects of developing new fund products / Legal advice in connection with product development, structuring fund products, drafting fund documents and fund agreements, including disclosures, side letters, operational issues, fee and expense provisions, fund marketing, and negotiations with clients / Legal coordination at the departmental level with portfolio management, marketing, compliance, the finance and tax departments, as well as operations and the middle office / General legal advice for all on the introduction of and compliance with internal and external guidelines, including their monitoring / Regular training of all employees involved in product development on regulatory and compliance issues / Preparation of expert opinions and reports for senior management and committees on compliance issues / Close cooperation with the compliance department in response to inquiries from supervisory authorities / Preparation of departments for regulatory audits / Situational project management.

Master's degree in law / Legal and compliance experience in the fund industry or in advising asset managers / Experience in setting up funds and independently managing projects from A to Z / Solid understanding of risks, best practices, and regulatory requirements / Interest in dealing with a wide range of topics / Analytical personality with a team orientation / Independent thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills / Willingness to roll up your sleeves and find pragmatic solutions / High level of trustworthiness, work ethic, and work ethic / Interest in working in a dynamic, multicultural environment / IT flair and proficiency in MS Office, especially PP / Languages: German and English.
