Job Summary

Advise on the pricing and design of new products (covering technical and market-based pricing), with a focus on protection products.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics/Statistics and 10 or more years of experience in related field

Additional Education / Experience

• Demonstrated track record of successful product introductions/repricing initiatives
• Expert knowledge of actuarial pricing and reserving concepts
• Knowledge of statistical and actuarial modeling
• Expert knowledge of insurance products
• Strong Project Management skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and oral

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Support BU Propositions and Actuarial teams in new product development and repricing/refresh initiatives with a focus on protection products
• Identify opportunities/need for product repricing in protection, based on Demand from Business Units (BUs) Review of 6-monthly profitability
• Identify opportunities for new protection products, based on •Analysis of competitive landscape and market trends Review of BU portfolios
• Support BUs on selected pricing and development related initiatives in protection
• Advise on product design features (e.g., benefit design, premium structure, linkages to UW/claims)
• Develop/advise on approach for technical pricing (e.g., pricing parameters, granularity)
• Develop/advise on approach for market-based pricing (e.g., competitive pricing per cell)
• Develop/review pricing and profit testing models
• Provide support in navigating global product approval process
