Social Media Manager (Maternity Cover – 8-10 months)

This role is an 8-10 months maternity cover. The social media manager will work alongside the two other team members. Together, the team will oversee the management of corporate accounts, community management, the advocacy program, and the Talking Heads program, which focuses on thought leadership.
What you will be responsible for:
- Execute Vontobel's social media strategy across various platforms and client units.
- Create, curate, monitor and manage content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), ensuring it aligns with company goals and audience engagement.
- Stay up to date on new digital technologies and social media best practices, conducting research on content trends.
- Manage and execute both organic and paid campaigns on corporate profiles, monitoring and reporting campaign performance based on defined KPIs such as content performance, engagements, and leads.
- Research, test, and optimize campaign performance, proposing improvements aligned with KPIs and ROI.
- Manage the social media policy and governance of the Vontobel social media ecosystem.
What we are looking for:
- Over eight years of experience in social media, preferably within the financial sector. Additionally, university degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications, or economics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in content creation for social media. Experience in stakeholder management, preferably at senior and C level, is also required.
- Native English proficiency is mandatory, with preferable fluency in German, including excellent spoken and editorial skills.
- Broad experience in development of social media advertising, community management, content marketing, and reporting. Additionally, proficiency in handling common social media channels and advanced knowledge of analytics and social media tools.
- Passion for communications and engaging with diverse audiences, along with the ability to articulate insights effectively across various formats, from lengthy stories to concise tweets.
- Strategic thinking capabilities, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Curiosity, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking, coupled with a strong drive to learn about new technologies, trends, and digital marketing channels. High attention to detail, and innovation in the work approach, whilst keeping the client satisfaction in mind.
