White carpet is already gleaming up from the booth floor of #RIDELCOMMUNICATIONS at #NABSHOW. All communication cables are in place under knees of double padding and our carpenters ensure a clean flooring. To keep it clean until Show opens, we will cover it right after installation.

It’s not an Easter Egg - we’re working at #NABSHOW to install truss, lights, audio, video and more for the #RIEDEL booth - so we work in a temporary hard hat area and need to wear our safety helmets. Among the highlights are the 149 world premieres - convincing proof of the innovative strength of the rail industry and the trade fair's role as a marketing platform and innovation driver. The number of exhibitors is high and the trade fair is planning to open up new areas for the future. This year, the organizer couldn't manage to clear up the empty containers of the exhibitors for the opening - considerable obstructions and also blocked emergency exits were the result on the opening day. InnoTrans not only attracts railroad representatives from all over the world. The media are also well represented to present the future means of transport to the general public. And on public days, around 16,000 rail fans come to marvel at the new products on 3.5 km of tracks at the open-air grounds. Here, Siemens will also be presenting its new products to the expert public. At the main booth, specialists are available for dialogue on any question. The future of rail transport then is a major topic. Models and functional examples will be used to discuss details and various options in order to find the right solutions for future rail traffic. Thales, also a European supplier, located nearby, is showing facilities, systems and services designed to improve safety and performance as well as the comfort of rail passengers. DILAX, with its new CI and booth concept from Berlin, presents intelligent solutions for passenger counting and recording of passenger routes in public transport to optimize frequency and capacity utilization.
