With an experienced staff able to treat a wide variety of dermatological issues, the Alaska Center for Dermatology in Anchorage can provide comprehensive care for its patients. The center can treat adults, adolescents, and children; the expert medical staff addresses general dermatological issues and can perform dermatological surgery, Mohs surgery, laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and ultraviolet light treatment. The Alaska Center for Dermatology also treats skin issues such as moles, acne, scars, wrinkles, spider and varicose veins, cysts, itchy skin, and broken blood vessels. The medical staff can also treat hair and nail issues including scalp rashes, hair loss, excessive hair growth, ingrown nails, fungal and bacterial infections, warts, and hemangiomas.

Since the Alaska Center for Dermatology was founded in 2003 by Dr. Peter Ehrnstrom, it has treated the dermatological needs of thousands of Alaskans with understanding and expertise. Aside from Dr. Ehrnstrom, the team includes Dr. Joy Wu, Dr. Margretta O’Reilly, Dr Robert Moreland, and Physician Assistants Kim Kinnebrew and Carmen T'Joens. The staff members of the Alaska Center for Dermatology belong to medical professional associations such as the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatological Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, the Dermatology Foundation Leaders’ Society, and the Alaska State Medical Association.
