Founded end of 1992,  B/L Transport GmbH started activities on 1st January 1993. From the beginning there were 3 partners in the company. Since 2007 Christian Buckow is sole shareholder of the company. From the early days the company was appointed husbandary chartering agent for various shipowners with full responsibility of the exclusive chartering of their ships, mainly in the european coastal market with tonnage ranging 1.500 – 8.000 mtdwcc. 

During the years a reliable cooperation with various trading houses has been established and the company has been appointed as panel broker for traders in the energy branch.

Working for both sides, for shipowners and charterers, does not mean a conflict of interest for the company at all. During the years we have established good relationship to other shipowners and shipoperators who appreciate our loyality. Each customer deserves the same qualified work, reliability, ethics and confidentiality.  Sometimes it suits to combine cargoes and ships of our direct customers, but our target is to find the right ship for the right cargo or vice versa.
