CCDSTUDIO is an union of three engineers, Luca Ciaffoni – Michele Ciutti -Antonio Di Marcantonio, which animate, organize and coordinate thoughts and activities of the large workgroup that forms the office. They graduate in Ingegneria edile\\architettura at L'Aquila university, where they continue to cooperate within the course of Architectural Composition. In 2004  they decide to form an office for architecture. The union aims to develop current design tools in architectural field, to provide valid responses to spatial shape expressed with contemporary language. A careful analysis and interpretation of the specific signs of the context are the base to draw every their archi- tectural solution. Special job opportunities has come from project financing for building and management of social facilities. Immediately after their partnership, they won four project financing in the first step, in Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Rome, two of which are already built. Then they have gained from their many special publications and awards of merit. About these first works were particularly appreciated the modern use of colours in transparency, the contem- porary language in technical solutions and the sustainable approach of their architecture. Therefore, the space for early childhood has become the main area in which they explored the various dimen- sions of current architectural research. Recently, other design fields were explorated by them for public and private themes, linking these projects to the world of art and communication. They collaborate in many artistic performances with International artists like Joe Tilson, Giuseppe Spagnulo, Bianco Valente and Arcangelo Sassolino, After the earthquake they are also involved by a people’s association in some strategic proposal for the urban redevelopment in an area near the town of L’Aquila to improve public space and to provide new sport facilities

Lo studio indaga, attraverso le occasioni progettuali e l'attività di ricerca, lo sviluppo di forme di linguaggio spaziali capaci di render forma alla complessità di programmi funzionali ed economico-finanziari che sottendono oggi l'erogazione di ogni servizio alla persona. 

I nostri progetti promuovono l'Architettura e il Design rivolti a porre l'abitante al centro dello spazio ideato.
