Cosa Travel Ltd. has a licence from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is a member of the "Swiss Federation of Travel Agencies" and the "Guarantee Fund of the Swiss Travel Industry". Cosa Travel is located at Utoquai 55, 8008 Zurich on the lake, in the district "Seefeld", close to Bellevue, one of the main centres of Zurich and has a qualified staff of 14 employees. The annual turnover is about CHF 20'000'000.- and the companies share capital and reserves amount to CHF 2'500'000.-. The company was founded in 1979 by UHAG Übersee-Handel AG and Emil Frey AG. The name COSA is the French short name of UHAG, Commerce Outre-mer SA. Today Cosa Travel is owned by the Emil Frey group of companies and Mr. George Müller, who is the managing director of Cosa Travel Ltd.. George Müller, who trained as an engineer before turning his passion for travel into a business, is also the Consul General of Japan in Zurich.
