Dürfen wir uns vorstellen?
Gestartet als Einzelunternehmen im Jahr 2013 betreibt die 2016 gegründete Drivethru GmbH mit Sitz in Essen heute mehrere Surfcamps in Sri Lanka und Dänemark.
Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Vermittlung von theoretischem und praktischem Wissen rund um das Thema Wellenreiten sowie auf der professionellen und gastfreundlichen Beherbergung von Urlaubsgästen. Der Verleih von Fahrrädern und Longboards sowie geführte Touren mit dem Kanu oder Stand Up Paddle Board runden das Sportangebot am dänischen Standort ab. In Sri Lanka ist neben dem Wellenreitunterricht Yoga fester Bestandteil des Aktivprogramms.
Die Drivethru GmbH beschäftigt aktuell 8 Mitarbeiter in Deutschland. Zudem sind an den Auslandsstandorten insgesamt 25 Mitarbeiter im Einsatz.
Die Drivethru GmbH unterstützt in Sri Lanka den lokalen Verein Surf Kids Club Medawatta, der einheimischen Kindern kostenlosen Schwimm- und Surfunterricht anbietet und ihnen dabei den verantwortungsbewussten Umgang mit der Natur näherbringt.

Drivethru started its operations in 2013 as a single enterprise. In the year 2016 the Drivethru GmbH was established. Today the company runs several surfcamps in Sri Lanka and Denmark.
The main focus lies on providing theoretical and practical knowledge about surfing and on the professional and hospitable accommodation of holiday guests. Bike and longboard rental as well as guided canoe and stand up paddle tours complete the Drivethru package in Denmark. Besides surfing, yoga is an essential part of the sports package in Sri Lanka.
At the moment the Drivethru GmbH employs a team of 8 people in Germany. In addition to this 25 employees work in the surf camps abroad in Sri Lanka and Denmark.
In Sri Lanka Drivethru supports the local association Surf Kids Club Medawatta, which offers free swimming and surfing lessons for the local children and additionally teaches them a responsible behavior towards the environment.
