The school was founded in 1996 and has grown steadily since then. In 2009 the school was taken over by the Sprachenzentrum Wöhler e.K. Germany. We renamed the school English Encounters in 2010 and relocated to downtown Burlington in April 2010.
All of our teachers are certified ESL professionals with lots of experience. They are chosen for their personalities as well as their qualifications. We believe that friendly, enthusiastic and patient teachers are essential and they want your stay to be happy and educationally rewarding.
