I specialize heavily in Oracle Database performance. If you have a database performance problem - typically expressed as "The database is slow!" - I can help.

Focusing on root case analysis allows me to propose reliable remedies for database performance problems - assuming the problem is, in fact, in the database. Oftentimes, I might also show you where the problem is, when it is not in the database.

I explicitly do not use or provide "rules of thumb" - the analysis and recommendations will be very specific to your system and situation. That is why I answer all requests for general advice with "it depends", but then proceed to explain on what, and how to find out which case is yours.

a) not answer at all, and 

b) use any email you send me as I see fit without your explicit permission.

If you insist on a timely answer or a non-disclosure agreement, you'll have to hire me.

P.S.: I can do all of the above in English, German, and Bulgarian. Other languages may become available in a future release of me, although I doubt it.
