Glacier Global Partners LLC’s founder Yaniv Blumenfeld and principals have decades of expertise in numerous financial matters. Glacier Global Partners has pursued several notable acquisitions in the past two years, focusing on distressed projects and nonperforming loans, which allow the firm to buy in at significant discounts.

The enterprise has notably originated, underwritten, structured, and closed a mezzanine bridge loan secured by The Charles, a highly anticipated Manhattan luxury residential condominium project located in the Upper East Side. Glacier Global Partners structured the loan with an option to convert to preferred equity. Glacier Global Partners loan exposure represents $180 psf, or 60 percent of current land value. Glacier’s funds were used to recapitalize the project and undertake the predevelopment work necessary to obtain a construction loan. When completed, the 100,000 square foot property will house a 34-story tower, with 40 apartments designed by architect Ismael Leyva. Glacier Global Partners, with offices in New York and Miami, provides mezzanine financing for stabilized properties, construction financing, and bridge loans for repositioning of transitional properties, and tenant improvement financing.
