Our Story

Holidu was founded in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers after they had a frustrating experience booking a vacation apartment for a surfing vacation in Portugal. The brothers noticed that many of the accommodations were offered on several websites at different prices and availability. They made it their mission to change the booking and rental of holiday accommodation so that it is full of joy and free of doubts.

Since then, Holidu has become one of the fastest-growing travel companies worldwide. We help thousands of hosts manage more than 50k vacation rentals effortlessly, and guide over 100 million website users each year to find their perfect holiday home. Our team is made up of 650+ colleagues from 60+ nations, united by a passion for technology, a love for travel, and the drive to keep getting better.
