Founded in 1995, the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) can draw on a tradition
of medical and scientific excellence spanning many centuries. HUG comprises
eight public hospitals in the Canton of Geneva and 40 outpatient clinics, ranking
it first among Switzerland’s university hospitals. It is also one of the Canton’s
largest employers, with over 10,000 staff and 180 job categories.
