Since its founding in 1995, HNI has profitably and aggressively expanded its services. HNI's original mission was to offer web services in Hungary , but from the start the firm took on ancillary work, such as digitizing print magazines, books, films, and telecasts, running catalogues, databases, and communication tools, and offering e-business solutions. HNI is the sole Hungarian internet provider with servers both in Hungary and the U.S. , connected via an internet bridge: http://www.net.hu/. HNI also developed and launched two independent search servers: HuDir and Heureka. With the advent of online advertising, HNI expanded its services to include designing and placing online ads, as well as developing internet and intranet solutions for businesses.

We publish general data (e.g., governmental and library catalogs); tourist information; business services (advertising, marketing, public relations); internet media activities (traditional and new publications, magazines, television and radio broadcasts over the internet); and information for non-profit organizations primarily linked to science and culture. We also cooperate with colleges, universities, and research institutions, helping students obtain degrees in the IT field, as part of our commitment to furthering technological development and innovation.

We are committed to establishing and sustaining excellence in every aspect of our operations, from accurate development to secure, customer-oriented service. We have developed tools that make multilingual solutions possible, and we have also acquired U.S. partners.
