IBCS is an initiative of the FP&A and Business Intelligence community. We want to create and establish a visual language for designing charts and tables. Like Wikipedia, this IBCS notation is freely available under the Creative Commons CC-BY SA license. Its development is governed by the not-for-profit IBCS Association. You are welcome to join this association with a free membership. The IBCS project was initiated by the commercial IBCS Institute (HICHERT+FAISST). Today the IBCS Institute hosts the IBCS project and provides corresponding services and material. These include the delivery of seminars and training courses, the IBCS certification of consultants and software packages, as well as the provision of educational material in a web-shop.
