Fresnel collectors concentrate sunlight with uniaxially tracked mirrors and focus it onto an absorber tube.
The heat transfer fluid in this absorber tube reaches temperatures of up to 400°C.
The Industrial Solar Fresnel collector is big enough to meet the power and temperature demand of industrial applications and of large solar cooling systems in the scale of several Megawatts, but it is small enough to be installed on flat rooftops.
This unique collector technology fills the gap between small non-concentrating solar collectors for domestic hot water applications and huge concentrating solar collectors for CSP power plants and is therefore targeting a huge market.
Our collector has a modular design with a high surface efficiency and top-quality features. With our Fresnel solar collector systems, Industrial Solar can supply industries with on-site production of solar process heat at temperatures in the range from 120 to 400 °C using water, steam or thermal oil as heat transfer fluid.
The high output temperatures make the Industrial Solar Fresnel process heat collector ideally suited to powering even triple effect absorption chillers, which can provide air-conditioning for large buildings or process cold in industry.
Furthermore these high output temperatures of up to 400 °C can be used to power ORC-turbines or steam engines. Even more attractive is their combination with absorption chillers and other process heat applications in cogeneration or polygeneration systems.
