What We Do

InternChina opens the door to an internship in China for students and graduates from various countries around the globe by arranging and supporting their entire experience there. Our team of international and local Chinese colleagues ensure that we have the expertise to go beyond your requirements both pre-departure and during your programme.

Internships

Embarking on an internship to China is something that will certainly set your CV apart from others. We arrange everything for our clients, finding them a relevant internship with one of our partner companies. They will be able to gain valuable work experience in a multinational company, as well as an insight into what business and everyday culture is like in the world’s next superpower, China. In addition, we ensure that all our clients are in contact with their host company before they arrive – something that many agencies neglect.

Language Classes

We offer the opportunity to combine your internship with Mandarin Chinese lessons to suit all levels from beginner to expert at our partner language schools. The best way to learn a language is to live in the country, so for those wishing to develop their Mandarin, combining language lessons with an internship gives them the chance to be effectively tutored and then be able to interact with colleagues and locals. Internship and Language combination programmes would be split into language lessons in the morning, and work in the afternoon.

Accommodation

We offer clients the flexibility to choose between living with likeminded fellow interns in a shared apartment or the immersive experience living like a local, in a Chinese homestay family. Apartment stay interns have the freedom to manage their own time and meals, whilst still being given support from the InternChina team. Homestay interns have the chance to become part of a Chinese family’s life and have morning and evening meals prepared for them.

Location

InternChina operates in 3 of the most liveable cities in China where there is a relaxed atmosphere, as well as an authentic culture – giving our interns an incredible experience to emerge themselves in Chinese life and business culture:

Chengdu - Capital of the Sichuan province and West China’s most liveable city. With a population of around 14 million, Chengdu is one of the most prosperous cities, with hundreds of international companies relocating production here, Chengdu is a business hub for the whole country.

Qingdao - One of the most sought after living destinations in China due to its clean air, pristine beaches and vicinity to Beijing and Shanghai. With a population of over 8 million and its port location, Qingdao is a city with a great mix of history and modern cosmopolitanism.

Zhuhai - Located on the coast next to Hong Kong and Macau, Zhuhai is a city that has grown hugely since being granted Special Economic Zone status in the 1970’s. Its clean air, warm climate and location make it a popular location with tourists as well as its population of 1.4 million.

Social

InternChina also supports you through your programme by arranging trips to incredible locations around China and activities during the week within your chosen city location. You will be introduced to all our other interns and join our social groups so you can spend your free time with likeminded people.
