McGavigan has a long history in the printing and decorative plastics industry. The Company was formed in 1861 in Glasgow, Scotland where it started out producing printed material for local traders.

Today it is recognised as one of the technology leaders in plastics processing and decoration, and has earned a reputation for product innovation and process development, including techniques such as In-Mould-Decoration (IMD) where it helped pioneer the process in the late 1980s'.

There are currently 2 development and manufacturing facilities, one in the Glasgow (UK), and the other in Suzhou (PRC) both equipped with the latest high volume printing, thermoforming, cutting, injection moulding, painting, laser etching, electroless plating and assembly processes.

The company supplies a range of decorative products to its clients around the world and across a range of technically demanding industries including automotive, domestic appliance and medical markets.
