LG Chem has been operating the Customer Solution (CS) Campus for 27 years, having first established a center in Daejeon, South Korea in 1995. LG Chem plans to further expand its CS centers, previously operated in Korea and China, in Europe and the US to ensure that it can provide high-quality services specifically tailored to customer needs in each region. The opening of the CS Center Europe in Frankfurt, which will operate its pilots and laboratories, is planned for May 2023. CS activities include introducing relevant products and solutions at LG Chem for customers, managing technical qualification of a product for customers, and after-sales service including technical solution support for customer complaints and claims. In addition, CS teams are developing a new application for existing products, a new project for new product developments, advanced simulation for injection molded parts, suitable manufacturing processes, and smart analysis tools.
