Life Uninterrupted is a public service initiative to spread awareness about uterine fibroids. It encourages women to come together and share everything possible about uterine fibroids - non-cancerous (benign) tumors develop in the uterus.  As many as 1 in 5 women may have fibroids during their childbearing years (the time after starting menstruation and before menopause). Half of all women have fibroids by age 50. Fibroids can be so tiny that you need a microscope to see them.

MRI Guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound offers a non-invasive alternative to the traditional treatments for uterine fibroids in women. It combines magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, with high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).
