Microsonix is a London-based medical technology company specialising in the development of high-tech, and highly affordable ultrasound imaging solutions.

In short, Microsonix is developing a small ultrasound device, fit for first-responders.

Our vision is of improved health and quality of life of the global population, by making sure all people have access to advances in medical diagnosis at an affordable price.

To achieve this, Microsonix is currently developing:

1. SonoPen – a low-cost, portable ultrasound scanner (\\<US$1000) based on our patent pending ultrasound-on-a-chip technology

2. AVA - our on-device Automated Virtual Assistant – an artificial intelligence system to aid diagnosis by non-experts
