MPM International Oil Company is one of the leading suppliers
of lubricants in the Netherlands and is establishing its position
on the international market.
MPM has a complete product range that consists of
over 130 different lubricants. With this product range 99%
of worldwide car fleets can be maintained. The quality of
our products is of the highest level. MPM lubricants
are composed entirely in accordance with the car manufacturer’s
mandatory specifications. The automotive market is constantly
on the move with new technologies and legislation.
This gives us, at MPM, opportunities.
Therefore we are always looking for new products and ways
to improve our service. Together with our distribution we want
to move things forward.
Organization
The headquarters of the company and the 12.500 square meter plant is located in Delft,
The Netherlands. From here out the sales, marketing and distribution of the MPM product
range is coordinated together with our neighbouring production facility in Belgium it
provides us the necessary supply chain options to meet any demand in the market. MPM
International Oil Company is fully owned by the two founders of the company.
Corporate mission
We are in the business to deliver the required lubricants for the automotive market
focusing on lubricants, as parts, not as commodities.
Corporate vision
The need for high quality lubricants is growing due to the increased complexity in
engine technology. MPM therefore provide lubricants with specific OEM–specifications
to the market.
Product
The MPM product range consists of lubricants which meet the OEM-specifications on
the level of any brand and type of cars. This means that the product range focuses on
delivering the right type of oils for the right type of vehicles.
Export
For the export market we work with dedicated MPM distributors.
Distribution channels
The specific nature of the product range means a dedicated distribution network
is essential. This indicates that MPM’s Point of Sale Team need to have knowledge
of the products and the way in which products should be handled. For that reason,
we have chosen to use wholesale dealers as our main distribution channel in our
domestic market, and we do not target retail distribution channels.
Sales support
As our products have a high-tech background, MPM has organised a sales support
that focuses on helping retailers and customers. We frequently organise oil seminars
to educate our customers and their sales staff. In addition to this, MPM have
developed a website which provides an online database, which is able to generate
the necessary lubricants for any make or model vehicles on the market.
It also provides information about all merchandise, including frequently asked
questions, product information and safety data.
Sponsoring
MPM supports all types and classes of motorsport; among them are the leading
drag-race teams in Europe in the Top-fuel category. Also, we have several Pro-mod
teams, a Top-fuel Harley team and several Tractor pulling teams. These sponsorships
are constantly boosting our brand image and allowing us to create relation
marketing.
