Reukema is an international trading company, handling more than 200.000 mt of non-ferrous scrap. The main facilities (HQ, yard and container terminal) are located in Harderwijk, a city in the center of The Netherlands. 

From this strategic logistical location the company sources non-ferrous metal scrap from local collectors in the Benelux, Germany, France and West Africa and sells this to mainly processors and smelters in China, India, Pakistan, Korea and Europe. 

The metal recycling business has become more challenging over the last couple of years: because of internet technology the market has become transparent and with a decrease in the availability of scrap the pressure on profitability increased. 

Reukema has embraced these new market circumstances by being a frontrunner in recycling. From 2012 onwards Reukema dedicated it’s time for Growth, Simplicity and Innovation. Successfully managing each year to grow in volume, to reduce cost levels, but also at the same time improving quality by simplifying processes through innovation in order to better and faster service our customers.
