James Smith is a waste, recycling, and accounting expert from Dripping Springs, Texas, located just outside of Austin. He is President and CEO of Red River Service Corporation, a diverse and widespread organization that specializes in not only waste solutions, but telecommunications and hotels, as well.

The company’s waste division, RR Waste Solutions, has a national presence with services offered in Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Kentucky, Iowa, and Mississippi. RR Waste Solutions provides technological services to the Department of Defense and a number of clients throughout the United States.

Privately held, RR Waste Solutions boasts a staff with experience in waste management going back to the late 1960s. This background provides a long-standing depth from which RR Waste Solutions operates, providing the best services available to its residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

James Smith received his education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting. From there, he has gone on to build and oversee the $35 million-dollar-a-year company that is Red River Service Corporation, a company that also operates hotels globally, with locations in Mexico and Guam. In addition, RR Communications, Inc., maintains a national presence and specializes in IT engineering, systems installation, and telecommunications.

James Smith has won numerous environmental awards through his work with RR Waste Solutions. Yet, for all his accomplishments, the one of which he is the most proud is raising a beautiful family. He has three children and five grandchildren. In his free time, James Smith enjoys hunting and fishing.
