𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁? They don’t just learn to sail. Quick reactions. Clear roles. Full trust. When a team hits the water, there’s no time for endless discussions. You either move together - or not at all. That’s exactly what happened when Silver Atena colleagues from across the company swapped office chairs for deck shoes. No hierarchy. No slide decks. Just shifting wind, unfamiliar terms (ta...

When your kid yells, “Dad, it’s not working” – it’s like a live system test. And you usually pass. A day in the life of a dad who’s also an engineer starts with simulations and ends with bedtime stories that get a bit out of hand. Between ESD protection and parents' evenings, there’s barely a moment to breathe. Whether it’s an ECU or a Lego crane – if it needs fixing, you are on it. You are an engineer. You are a dad. And often the only one who knows where the spare batteries are. To all the...

𝟴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. 𝟱 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 – 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲. Especially in performance-driven companies like ours, where engineers deliver top results, work-life balance can feel like a loaded term. Some people think: If you want flexibility, you just want to take it easy. Remote work? That’s a loss of control. Work-life balance? Sounds like part-time ambition. But the reality is different. 𝗗𝗖 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗩 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝗩 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 High efficiency. Unmatched flexibility. Modern electric vehicles with 800 V systems offer shorter charging times and higher efficiency. However, much of today’s charging infrastructure is still designed for 400 V. DC Boost Charging technology addresses this challenge by boosting the voltage to 800 V, enabling continuous charging with up to 180 kW. Compact converters, optimised for integr...

𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝘀. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 – 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘀, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹: 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆. Whether flying 10,000 meters above the ground or driving at 230 km/h on the highway – systems must perform. Always. No excuses. But: Safety doesn't happen by chance. It’s the result of clearly defined standards, structured processes, and a dedicated mindset. In aerospace, the standard is 𝗘𝗡 𝟵𝟭𝟬𝟬. It requires: • complete traceability • protection against counterfeit parts ...

𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝘀: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆? Electric mobility has made great strides in recent years. In 2023, 524,000 battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) were newly registered in Germany – making up 18.4% of the market. But despite this growth, the industry faces challenges: rising inflation, high interest rates, and the end of government subsidies have dampened consumer willingness to buy. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳...
