Created by Joe Petrashek more than 20 years ago, StarScapes is an innovative decorating technique that transforms ordinary ceilings into fascinating windows to the universe. Once the lights are turned off at night, a StarScapes ceiling becomes a vision of a crystal-clear night sky, revealing thousands of twinkling stars.

Mr. Petrashek, a retired magician and master illusionist, has created a work-at-home opportunity in which entrepreneurs are trained to create their own part-time or full-time StarScapes businesses. The training, which requires only one weekend, includes not only specialized tutoring but professional equipment and all of the tools required to start a StarScapes business. Since 1991, thousands of people in the United States, Canada, and more than 160 countries around the world have benefited from the opportunity to become licensed StarScapes Artist-Illusionists. Veterans and active members of the U.S. Armed Forces who sign up for StarScapes educational program are offered a special discount. Senior citizens  are also eligible for discounts.
