StudySmarter is a fast growing tech-ed startup aiming to shape the future of education by providing a digital platform enabling learners all around the world to achieve their educational goals by offering all the tools in one place that can help students in every phase of their studies.

StudySmarter is an app that provides students - regardless of age or topic - a platform where they can create their own content for studying, such as lecture notes, summaries, flashcards and quizzes to test their knowledge. Students can access the app on mobile devices or on the web enabling them to study everywhere at any time.

StudySmarter was founded by Christian, Maurice, Till & Simon as a spin-off of their studies at the TU Munich and LMU Munich. They observed the issues of the education system first-hand and the fact that millions of learners fail to achieve their goals and dreams because of the lack of access to education or a lack of motivation, structure, and efficiency. The StudySmarter learning platform was first published in 2018 and is currently used by more than 3 million learners. StudySmarter has been voted the best EdTech start-up in Germany and Europe by university representatives and education experts. The Startup is headquartered in Munich and employs more than 500 people.
