Dürfen wir uns vorstellen?
Die Größte Sonnenuhr der Welt - The largest sundial in the World .:.
· Zu jeder vollen Stunde fällt der Schatten des Berliner Fernsehturmes auf ein bestimmtes Gebäude oder einen Platz im nahen Umfeld. Diese Orte wollen wir durch Künstler gestalten lassen, sodass das Ziffernblatt der architektonisch bereits vorhandenen Sonnenuhr für alle sichtbar wird.
· Unsere Aufgabe sehen wir vorrangig in der Verbreitung der Idee, der Öffentlichkeits- und Netzwerkarbeit, sowie in der Akquise der nötigen finanziellen Mittel.
· Wir möchten junge und unbekannte Künstler fördern und unterstützen.
Der Sonnenuhr-Berlin e.V. ist am 09.03.2012 gegründet worden. Der Vorstand besteht aus Alexander Graef, Jens Petersen und Juliane Wothe.
Jeder kann bei uns mitmachen.
Um dieses einzigartige Projekt realisieren zu können, brauchen wir deine Hilfe: Trage diese Idee weiter an deine Freunde. Wir suchen Sponsoren, Förderer, Freunde und Künstler, die unsere Idee unterstützen, fördern und weitertragen.
#### The Great Art Project The Berlin television tower (Berliner Fernsehturm) along with its shadow and surrounding buildings should function as the “largest sundial in the world.” Every full hour, the tower casts its shadow on a specific rooftop, façade, or place in its near periphery. These respective surfaces mark each hour of a clock and should be artistically styled to make the sundial visible to everyone.
Each work of art will stand alone, yet also combine with the others to form one giant work of art – the clock-face of the largest sundial in the world. Ideally, this clock-face should be visible from the tower’s observation deck, from the official website, from geographic information systems like Google Earth©, and naturally from the ground.
The sundial artists will be sponsored and strongly promoted by the project.
The more people who become engaged in our plan, the easier it will be to find necessary capital providers and be able to convince cooperative partners about the idea of “the largest sundial in the world.”
