Secreto Purepecha

Los Dioses Aztecas le dieron a sus hijos el mundo, el aguila devorando una serpiente sobre un nopal fue la señal divina. Fueron señores de un vasto imperio. As{i los Mexicas vencieron a todos sus enemigos, a todos excepto a los señores Purepechas, amos de Michoacán. Axayacatl, señor de los Mexicas fue hasta el campo de batalla. Aceptó su derrota, pero a cambio de la paz les exigió su secreto. Los sabios michoacanos consultaron a las estrellas, preguntaron a sus dioses y así les entregaron al tirano una vasija con el alma de agave. El Tequila michoacano, el elixir del agave, que aun hoy sigue infundiendo honor y valentía a aquellos que se atreven a beberlo.

The Purepecha Secret

The Aztec gods gave the world to their sons. An Eagle devouring a snake on a nopal was the divine sing. They became warrios and lands of a greate empire and so it was the Mexican lands defeted all their enemies, all but the Purepecha people, lands of Michoacan. Axayacatl, emperor of the Aztecs come from his palace to the battlefield. He acknowledged his defet, but in exchange of peace he demanded the Purepechas Secret. The high priest of Michoacan asked the stars and the gods, so they give thetynat a vessel with the soul af the agave. Michoacan´s Tequila, the elixir of the agave that still influences honor and courage to those who dare to drink it.
