The Congress of Diplomats - Le Congrès des diplomates

The Congress' of Diplomats is an independent, non-governmental "multi-stakeholder, inter-regional and inter-diplomatic", membership organization. Members of the Congress are distinguished diplomats and policymakers from all continents.

Aim of the Congress of Diplomats

Membership of the Congress of Diplomats is a badge of allegiance to the Congress of Diplomats and Responsible Commercial Diplomatic Practise. The chief aim of the Congress is to facilitate cooperation among members from all regions, by bringing together diplomats, commerce and industry leaders, members of the legislature, heads of diplomatic institution, members of the judiciary and officials of intergovernmental organisations to discuss the most current issues on the global agenda.

Membership

Membership of the Congress of Diplomats is by invitation only and limited to distinguished individuals (representing Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, the Pacific, the Atlantic and Central and Eastern Europe etc), who are carefully elected ad personam by the Council of The Congress of Diplomats. Unlike most international diplomatic organisations, the Congress of Diplomats is more intimate where everyone can have their say.

Honorary Membership

Honorary Members are elected ad personam by the Administrative Council of The Congress of Diplomats, after consultation with the Governing Council. The Congress of Diplomats is one of the world's foremost members-only diplomatic organisations, headquartered in the City of London. As an Honorable Member of the Congress of Diplomats, you benefit from a fine array of stimulating events and an outstanding global network of contacts. Honorary Membership in the Congress of Diplomats is by invitation only.

Annual Individual Membership

Annual Membership is open to qualified diplomats, senior executives and senior government officials that are interested in contributing to an open and interactive discussion on related diplomatic issues.

Admission

Council has absolute discretion to admit, remove or to refuse to admit an applicant or nominee to Membership of The Congress of Diplomats, and may require from the nominators such further information about the applicant as Council may deem necessary.
