Trelion was founded in 2020 by Edwin Idema out of a passion for sharing knowledge and experience in the IT sector and helping businesses in an accessible, practical way. The name Trelion, a playful nod to Edwin’s nickname "the Lion King," marked the start of a new chapter in IT services.

What began with speaking engagements at major IT events and giving presentations to businesses quickly evolved into an independent enterprise. Initially, Edwin focused on project-based consulting, leveraging his extensive network and over 25 years of experience.

Today, Trelion has grown into a thriving organization with an enthusiastic team of six IT professionals. Combining their specialized expertise, they design and implement robust IT foundations that not only ensure business continuity but also prepare companies for the challenges of tomorrow.
