We are VIDEO TO VOICE
Our mission is to make audio description production as simple and cost-effective as possible. In 2017, we started out with the vision of bridging the accessibility gap for the blind and visually impaired. Setting up operations in Berlin, we worked on developing innovative software to tap into this long-neglected consumer market that has enormous financial potential. And thus, “Frazier” was born.
Frazier is an intuitive text-to-speech video editor that greatly simplifies the audio description workflow and lowers production costs. From the very outset, we have been committed to supporting the academic community by collaborating with leading experts at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the University of Hildesheim in Frazier’s development. Late in 2017, we presented our first prototype at the first Swiss Conference on Barrier-free Communication, an annual event we have continued to attend in subsequent years.
Since then, we have established ourselves as a forerunner in the text-to-speech audio description industry. In 2018, Frazier’s stock continued to rise as we picked up first prize at the Digital Imagination Challenge. The following year, we produced our first videos with a text-to-speech audio description, which were broadcasted online and on TV. Right now, we are focused on integrating machine translation software into Frazier, so that audio descriptions can be created with ease across various languages.
