VIG’s Annual General Meeting for the financial year 2022 took place today in the Wiener Stadthalle arena. A dividend of EUR 1.30 per share proposed by our Managing and Supervisory Boards was approved by the Annual General Meeting. Moreover, Peter Thirring was elected to the VIG Supervisory Board. The 2022 Silver “Günter Geyer Award for Social Conscience” went to our Romanian insurance company BCR Asigurări de Viaţă for its close collaboration with the Romanian Red Cross during the Corona pandemic and the organisation of a mobile vaccination centre in southern Romania.
