VIOSO has established itself as a reliable, successful partner over the course of its history. The company offers outstanding German quality and has established excellent customer contacts. VIOSO moved its head office to Düsseldorf in 2008 for strategic reasons. By now the distributors no longer sit facing each other at a desk but are spread around the globe. Users, distributors and employees also value the friendly, open and professional atmosphere in the world of VIOSO.

The products

VIOSO has also developed Wings VIOSO for professional projections and media shows in cooperation with the media server specialist AV Stumpfl. This all-in-one solution supports the production and projection of shows and events. Key features include warping and stacking of several projectors in a matter of minutes, preparing and combining multimedia shows and large-format projection onto any surface such as castle walls or cliffs.

With Blackbox, VIOSO also offers a versatile tool for integration into the media server or virtual reality applications. Just like Wings VIOSO, up to four projectors and a control monitor can be connected for the production of elaborate visualisations. This means Blackbox is the optimum framework for design, virtual and augmented reality, architecture, theatre and show, research, gastronomy, events, public viewing and advertising.

VIOSO Presenter is the tool for end users in every day presentation business. This software stands for a sea change in presentation philosophy: Away from the pure dissemination of information towards infotainment and entertainment. VIOSO Presenter allows users to create exciting mixed media presentations in minutes – with no prior knowledge. Users can combine familiar programmes such as PowerPoint, Word or Photoshop as well as images and videos in VIOSO Presenter quickly and easily using drag & drop. Like the professional tools VIOSO Presenter allows the presentation on any surface from regular canvases of all kinds to natural stone walls, stage settings and even stairs. VIOSO Presenter has what it take to become the international standard presentation tool.

The technology

Patented smartprojecting technology was originally developed for the distortion-free, true-colour projection onto unusual surfaces. Creating such a virtual “blank screen” merely requires the automated, one-time calibration with the help of a digital camera connected to the control computer. The projector emits test patterns recorded by the camera and processed using smartprojecting technology. Once calibration is complete, the image being projected is automatically adjusted for a highly accurate projection.
